I was a natural healer and empath as a child. I would give my friends back rubs when they were stressed and had the ability to feel other people's emotions. As a child this was overwhelming because I couldn't tell the difference between my own emotions and others'. I studied at The Academy of Intuitive Studies, which helped me develop this ability as a tool rather than a detriment. A friend suggested I get licensed in massage, so I went to the Acupressure Institute where I studied and got certified. I have spent my whole life learning modes of natural healing—massage, energy work, intuitive consulting, yoga therapy, and meditation instruction—all of which lends to my being a better facilitator.
