Dr. CK Olivieri Blackmore is a licensed psychotherapist, depth-oriented social psychologist, adjunct professor, clinical supervisor, qualitative researcher, mediator, and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. Her clinical approach blends evidence-based research with warmth, humor, compassion, and creativity, specializing in PTSD, dissociative disorders, human sexuality, and relationship dynamics—particularly issues pertaining to the queer community and their loved ones. Drawing upon social-developmental psychology, queer studies, and ecopsychological principles, her approach utilizes an interactive insight and behavior change model informed by cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, IFS, and family systems theories, as well as EMDR, Gottman, and EFT modalities.
CK holds a doctoral degree in East-West Psychology, a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and post-graduate certificates in Advanced Traumatic Studies and Spiritual Counseling.
