About

In Alexandra’s words

Bio sourced from public website. The facilitator has not yet claimed this listing.

I entered the world introspective in nature and quickly developed a keen interest in understanding what motivates human behavior. At a young age I began to notice that my observations of people were often inconsistent with what was outwardly presented. This perceived incongruence led to years of confusion around how to develop a healthy sense of self in relation to my environment. After decades of deeply questioning reality, I decided to study Contemplative and Somatic Psychology at Naropa University. During this time I had the unique opportunity to practice alchemizing long held pain into purpose by first exploring my own mind. It was through meditation, psychedelic experiences, somatic practices, self-inquiry, sensory deprivation, and solitude that I learned how to skillfully navigate complex psychic terrain and embody a more authentic way of life. The self-compassion I have cultivated along my own journey now serves as the foundation from which I support others.

Although healing is a messy and often uncomfortable process, it can also be filled with humor and many moments of joy. Proper support is key. As a trauma-informed and client-centered facilitator, my approach is one of curiosity, connection, and unconditional acceptance. I draw inspiration from Hakomi, Organic Intelligence, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and my own intuitive sense to support the integration of mind, body, spirit, and heart as they work in unison to guide you toward wholeness. My role throughout our work together is to provide a safe, open, and reflective environment that supports the flourishing of your innate wisdom. I am passionate about the transformative power of relationships and believe that the safety felt within the facilitator-client dynamic plays a significant role in meaningful outcomes.
